NC Big Sweep Beach Cleanup Saturday

It's time again for the North Carolina Big Sweep clean up of our beaches and waterways. Come on out on September 26th, 2009 at 9 a.m. to participate in the event for New Hanover County. Refreshments and equipment will be provided. Meet at any of the following locations:

Carolina Beach: Carolina Beach Boardwalk
Kure Beach: Kure Beach Pier
Wrightsville Beach: Johnnie Mercer's Pier
Greenfield Lake: Boathouse

During The 2008 North Carolina Big Sweep, more than 18,000 of us picked up 264 tons of debris from North Carolina's watersheds. Help us make it an even bigger, more successful sweep in 2009.
